Temporary Closure of REGENT BUSINESS SCHOOL Learning Centres

Following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s unprecedented step in announcing a nationwide lockdown, as well as the confirmed partial lockdowns in both Namibia and Eswatini, REGENT BUSINESS SCHOOL, in support of Government’s call on businesses and individuals in the fight to eradicate COVID-19, will be closing all our Learning Centres as per the dates below:

South Africa: Closed from Thursday, 26 March until 16 April, until further notice
Namibia: Closed from Friday, 27 March until 16 April, until further notice
Swaziland: Closed from Friday, 27 March until 16 April, until further notice

We thank you for your patience and cooperation during these uncertain times.

Our focus is on doing what we can to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and community, while still delivering quality teaching and learning, to the highest standards possible under the circumstances. 

Student Support

Our academic and support teams will still engage with you while working remotely from the safety of their homes, maximising on digital technology solutions to support you throughout this time.

REGENT Counselling

In addition, the REGENT Counselling Service is available to you. Calls can be conducted via a videocall using Microsoft Teams or Zoom (https://zoom.us/). A communiqué with a detailed schedule of short video presentations, focusing on mental health and emotional wellbeing during the National Lockdown, will be sent out in due course.

Resources

Students are encouraged to use the online databases for e-resources to enhance their assignments using the latest online articles, accessible through the website http://www.myregent.ac.za/login.php. Post-graduate students also have the benefit of accessing exemplars of high quality research dissertations on the portal.

In addition, we appeal to all to practice the recommended precautionary measures, such as hand hygiene and social distancing, at all times.
