Office Manager – Cape Town

Core functions:

  • Plan and coordinate student enrolment activities for the learning centre
  • Develop and implement administrative systems, such as record keeping for the learning centre student portal
  • Use a range of office systems, including email, spreadsheets and databases; 
  • Manage filing systems 
  • Monitor all electronic mailing to Head Office
  • Record office expenses and manage approved office budget
  • Oversee and manage the coordination and setup of workshops, examinations, events and open days
  • Maintain the working conditions of the office and anticipate and arrange for any office repair/renovation work
  • Assist in the recruitment of new staff
  • Conduct training and job role induction for all new staff at the learning centre
  • Manage staff capacity and resources to compensate for absences and peak periods
  • Manage staff performance and when necessary discipline staff
  • Delegate work to staff and manage and oversee their individual work load against office strategy and objectives to be achieved
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints
  • Review and update health and safety policies and ensuring they are observed i.e. go on a health and safety course 


  • BCom Business Administration degree or equivalent qualification

Additional Requirements:

  • Required to work during the weekends and overtime
