The successful market researcher will be able to analyse autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness.

  • Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
  • Compiling and analysing statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it

  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages, databases and MS Office
  • Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
  • Familiarity with CRM programs
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing or related field

BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field

Minimum Requirements:
• A Doctoral Degree preferably
• Candidate must possess strong presentation skills
• Previous experience in public or private higher education institution
• Familiarity with the higher education regulatory environment and requirements.
• High level computer literacy; strong linguistic, advanced analytical and report writing skills; sound
interpersonal skills.
• An added advantage would be a candidate with strong digital literacy skills.
• At least 4 years lecturing experience

Main Functions:

  • Produce and maintain a strategy for the future development of the MBA Programmes, in support of the School’s aims and objectives;
  • Involvement in the academic activities of the MBA programme;
  • Involvement with the marketing activities for the academic programmes;
  • Develop industry relationships.
  • Manage the student experience in relation to the MBA Programmes and coordinate staff to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Ensure the curriculum is relevant through coordinated reviews.
  • Work with academic team faculty in various regions to ensure that equivalence of provisioning.
  • Plan and execute extra curricula activities in support of Teaching and Learning.
  • Incorporate 21st century skills into the curricula.
  • Research and implement latest Teaching and Learning approaches to the programme.

Minimum Requirements
• Post graduate qualification
• Worked in the SETA Environment
• Have an excellent network and comfortable with public speaking
• Experience in the Higher Private Education sector and Training and Development Sector will be an advantage
• Own vehicle and willing to travel

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with a Learning Management System, preferably Moodle.
• The ability to analyse and interpret content, learning outcomes and target audience level to construct an
end-to-end learner experience framework that is suitable to an online learning environment.
• Competence in applying instructional design methodologies in the development of storyboards.
• The ability to develop storyboards in an online learning environment (i.e. on an LMS platform).
• The ability to create an engaging online learning experience that maximises learning opportunities

• Undergrad or Postgraduate qualification
• 2 years’ work experience within an administration role
• Experience in the Assessment/ Examination environment
• Experience within a higher education institution would be an added benefit
