Is Minister Tito Mboweni’s Budget Speech 2020 a tightrope or Mission Impossible?

Budget Speech 2020: Balancing a Tightrope

Finance Minister, Tito Mboweni, faces a colossal task when he tables the 2020 Budget in Parliament on 26 February 2020.

How will the Minister navigate the current turbulent economic waters? Amidst a sluggish economy, business and government ethics under scrutiny, Eskom’s rolling blackouts, the World Bank’s economic growth downgrade, and the impact of 4IR, Minister Mboweni will have to perform a delicate balancing act.

Please join REGENT BUSINESS SCHOOL for a Davos-style, moderated panel discussion as we unpack the challenges the Minister faces and discuss how he is likely to address them. Our esteemed panel of experts will lead the thought-provoking discussion that will includeย  lively engagement with the audience.
