REGENT Business School (RBS) is closely monitoring the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Our focus is on doing what we can to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students, employees and stakeholders, in so far as this is possible, while still delivering quality teaching and learning, supporting our students’ needs and ensuring normalcy in the academic project, to the highest standards possible in the circumstances.
For now, our learning centres will remain open, but we have taken various precautionary measures including:
1. All face-to-face interactions (workshops/ lectures) have been suspended with immediate effect until further notice. However, RBS will ensure continuity of teaching, learning and the academic programme online – through digitally mediated methods and solutions.
2. The graduation that was scheduled for 18 April 2020 has been postponed to a later part of this academic year. Further details regarding the new graduation date and degree certificates will be communicated in due course.
3. In line with the social distancing principles and in an effort to minimise exposure to students and staff, RBS may limit usage of its library facilities at its various learning centres.
4. You will soon be advised on how to access the RBS Digital Library resources, which is a rich resource for academic materials, eBooks and related support.
At this point, there are no reported cases of COVID-19 at RBS within the student, staff and faculty population.
In accordance with RBS’s business continuity policy, we have established a COVID-19 Coordinating Committee to assess and consider measures to mitigate risks associated with the pandemic.
The RBS Covid-19 Coordinating Committee will update you with regular posts via the RBS website.
In addition, we appeal to all to practice the recommended precautionary measures, such as hand hygiene and social distancing, at all times.
Please share this update with the relevant members of the RBS community.
