Two Cape Town youngsters, Taahir Fredericks and Suhayl Abrahams, could well be saying “”my cup runneth over” as their home business of printing on mugs grows from strength to strength.
They opened the business while studying an entrepreneurship course at Regent Business School.
Their new business, T&S Printing based in Cape Town, offers printing on mugs for any occasion such as anniversaries, matric balls, corporate events and birthdays.
Fredericks said he and Abrahams were inspired to be part of the Ottoman Cricket Club where they played at many tournaments and were provided an opportunity to train aspiring cricket players.
“We wanted to give back to the community by using the skills acquired at Regent Business School where we made our first printed mugs for the club.
“In future we would like to extend our horizons and start to print on t-shirts or other mediums,” he said.
Abrahams said Regent Business School has Fredericks and him in many ways.
“We learnt different kinds of printing methods, whether on mugs or t-shirts.
“Regent Business School also provided the necessary machines for us to start our business. They helped us in every way possible and we could not have done anything without them.
“The institution went the extra mile to get us started, and we want to thank them sincerely,”
he said.
