HealthXcel Unleashes Healthcare Revolution

The HealthXcel MBA Innovation Challenge aims to bridge the gap between healthcare and technology, empowering participants to revolutionise patient care and shape the future of the industry. It commenced with prototyping and rapid testing, immersing participants in hands-on activities to swiftly prototype and test their ideas. This was followed by iteration and refinement, a pivotal phase during which concepts underwent refinement and improvement based on feedback and insights garnered in the initial stages. Subsequently, participants delved into pitch preparation and storytelling, honing the skills necessary to effectively communicate and present their groundbreaking solutions. The journey culminated in the Solution Showcase and Awards, providing a platform for participants to present their meticulously refined solutions and receive well-deserved recognition and celebration for their outstanding contributions. 

Participation in the HealthXcel MBA Innovation Challenge provided numerous benefits. The challenge fostered an environment that cultivated creative thinking and collaboration, recognising these as essential elements in effectively addressing complex healthcare challenges. Participants had the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of tangible and actionable solutions for pressing healthcare issues. The importance of Academic integration

Why is a maker space or lab situated within a business school? This is a question that frequently arises. Well, here’s a concise response: Our objective, as iLeadLab, a subsidiary of Regent Business School, is to bridge gaps for our students. By that, I mean we are here to equip them with a competitive edge necessary for securing jobs by possessing skills that not every graduate possesses – the 21st-century skills in the 4IR and even the 5IR.

We accomplish this through academic integration. All our students benefit from a hybrid learning system, which combines traditional classroom lectures with hands-on experience in our lab. Here, they acquire practical skills and engage in designing and implementing processes. Throughout their journey with us, we impart various skills such as laser cutting, 3D printing, web design, robotics, and coding, among others, at Regent Business School.

Consequently, this unique approach empowers our students with a distinct competitive advantage over other applicants, as they are upskilled with these digital and 21st-century skills. This prepares them to thrive in today’s dynamic and ever-evolving job market.
