Graduation ceremonies deserve to be celebrated and the return of a ‘traditional’ graduation after a three-year hiatus is to be welcomed.
A graduation ceremony is a momentous occasion in that it is a celebration of the hard work of students in some instances under trying conditions. The sacrifices and efforts of students and their families and loved ones must be acknowledged and publicly celebrated. Eighteen students will be receiving special awards for outstanding academic performance.
The REGENT Business School Graduation ceremony is truly a global affair. Some statistics:
- A total number of 959 students from 18 countries constitute the graduating class of 2022. Of these 40% are male and 60% female.
- There are graduates in 30 qualifications including the Bachelor of Commerce degree (163), Postgraduate Diploma in Management (118), Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management (105), Master of Business Administration (77), Advanced Diploma in Financial Management (75) and Bachelor of Commerce Honours (59).
- The oldest graduating student is 61 years old and has obtained an MBA degree, showing that it is never too late to learn
Congratulations to all students who will be formally graduating on 26 November 2022 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg.
We extend our best wishes to all and look forward to the pomp and ceremony which brings so much pizzazz to the event.
